WANTED: Event Organizers: Would you like to help plan and organize an event? Help is needed to send a survey to gauge ideas for, and interest in, events. If so, please contact me. Thank you!
We are a group of your neighbors who organized this association in 1934 to protect the rights and interests of residents in the Pike Lake area in the Town of Hartford, Washington County. You need not be a shoreline resident to join us.
The Pike Lake Advancement Association, “PLAA,” maintains membership sign boards at the Eagle Point and High Road entrances to the Lake, along with special street lighting. We also control the lake water level by adjusting the Pike Lake Dam. An annual Board meeting is held along with an annual membership meeting and dinner. Past events include a summer boat tie up and the Pike Tyke Fisheree so that members may socialize and become better acquainted.
Initial membership is $40.00, which includes a ONE-TIME charge (as long as a current membership is maintained) of $20.00 for the placement of your name on the membership sign board. Renewals are $20.00 annually.
